Welcome to my about me page! My name is Misty McFadden, and I am a native of the beautiful state of Arizona. I am proud to be an interior designer specializing in serving the East Valley region. Designing spaces that capture the essence of Arizona's unique charm is not just my profession; it's my passion.
Interior design runs deep in my veins, as my family has been in the furniture and interior design business since 1958. Growing up surrounded by creative energy and beautiful furniture, I developed an appreciation for aesthetics from an early age. Witnessing the transformative power of well-designed spaces ignited a fire within me, and I knew that interior design was my calling.
I am not only an interior designer but also a proud mother of four amazing children. As two of them have grown into successful adults, I have found renewed joy in sharing my love for interior design with them. In fact, I often find myself collaborating with my daughter on various projects, bouncing ideas off each other and nurturing our shared passion.
One might wonder how I manage to balance motherhood and a thriving career. Well, it's true that two of my children are all grown up, but my youngest ones are still in elementary school. Juggling the demands of parenthood and my profession can be challenging at times, but I find great fulfillment in both roles. The creativity and flexibility required in designing interiors translate well into managing a busy family life.
In 2011, I officially embarked on my interior design journey, and since then, I have had the privilege of working on numerous projects. To deepen my knowledge and refine my skills, I pursued a formal education in interior design. I am proud to say that I graduated with Honors from The American Institute of Interior Design, which has equipped me with a strong foundation in design principles and techniques.
When it comes to my style, I embrace the modern southwest aesthetic. Drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of the Arizona landscape, I incorporate clean lines, warm earth tones, and rustic elements into my designs. By seamlessly blending contemporary design with regional influences, I create spaces that are inviting, stylish, and uniquely reflective of the Southwest's spirit.
Whether it's transforming a living room, revamping an office space, or creating a serene bedroom retreat, I am dedicated to crafting interiors that not only reflect my clients' individuality but also enhance their daily lives.
